GETTING YOUR RAP SHEET AND CHECKING ON YOUR ACCOUNT
ALAMEDA COUNTY RAP SHEETS
Get a copy of your Alameda County RAP sheet only if you know you do not have any arrests or convictions outside of Alameda County. (If you have convictions in other counties, follow the instructions below for obtaining a state of California RAP sheet.) You may obtain a copy of your Alameda RAP sheet by going in person to:
Alameda County Sheriff’s Department
15001 Foothill Boulevard
San Leandro, CA 94578-1092
Phone: (510) 667-7721
The hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. The cost is $25, cash only. You must appear in person as you will be fingerprinted. The process takes about one hour. Clear any outstanding warrants before appearing.
CALIFORNIA RAP SHEETS
For a RAP sheet that reports all of your arrests and convictions in every county in California, you must obtain a RAP sheet from the California Department of Justice. Call the East Bay Community Law Center (510-548-4040) and ask for a DOJ rap sheet information packet.
FIND OUT IF YOU OWE FINES FEES & RESTITUTION IN ALAMEDA COUNTY
