The Low Income Eviction Project (LIEP) provides free legal help to low-income tenants in Alameda County who have received an unlawful detainer summons and complaint (eviction papers).

LIEP is staffed by law students and attorneys, who meet one-on-one with tenants to assist them in asserting legal defenses to an eviction.

When:
Every Monday & Wednesday
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon

LIEP is first come, first served, so tenants in need of immediate legal assistance must arrive early.
